Each painting tells a story and this is the one of a young boy who lives deep in the Amazon jungle. He is surrounded by the forest and its creatures. He paints himself blue because it makes him stand out from the green-ness all around him. And yet the color also connects him to the peacock feathers that he seeks. They are his favorites of all the feathers collects, because they are the spiritual symbol of his people. All day the boy wanders the jungle in search of the peacocks and the other Strange Birds.
